Course Outline (Summary)
- Foundation modelling and soil behaviour (Mohr-Coulomb theory)
- Slope stability analysis using layered soils
- Tied-back retaining wall systems (dry excavation)
- Design using Eurocode 7 (ULS)
- Seepage and groundwater effects
Each topic is accompanied by hands-on exercises using PLAXIS 2D.
About the Instructor
Ir. Ts. Dr. Siti Khadijah binti Che Osmi, ACPE
Dr. Siti is a professional engineer with over 15 years of experience in civil and geotechnical engineering. She holds a PhD from The University of Manchester and brings deep technical and practical expertise to the course.
